The students did some initial learning before they arrived through tutorials Jennifer prepared and sent online. Then a team of 3 headed over for intensive training and practical workshops. These trainers work so hard while they are there - Abbey Pryde returned for the second time this year and was ably assisted by Stella Jones who has travelled to Bangladesh to train previously.

Following close on its heels, Team 2 headed there in early June. This team had an international flavour, the girls from Perth being joined in Dili by Yessica, a Spanish Hair and Beauty professional from Barcelona who travelled many hours via Doha and Bali to get there. On arrival, she joined Jennifer Quartermaine and Tracey Laing, both experienced trainers in hair, and Sue MacArthur who served as a jack of all trades, specialising in pastoral care for the students!
